Congratulations to all 29 MHS Band students selected for the 2017 ETSBOA All-East bands. 24 MHS and 5 MJHS students were selected for the honor. Special kudos to the following ten students who earned a chair in the 2017 Tennessee All-State Band: 11/12 Band: Leah Wolfe (flute), Andrew Ashmore (clarinet), Marley Profitt (bari sax), Elya Philbrook (horn), and Noah Aaron (percussion); 9/10 Band: Sarah Potts (flute), Jake Basil (clarinet), Craig Harville (bassoon), Carter Hatch (tenor sax), and Madeleine Anderson (trombone). Special thanks to all students who dedicated the time and effort to try out and represent our school.
Congratulations to the 39 MCS students representing Maryville Jr. High, Montgomery Ridge, and Coulter Grove who earned chairs in the 2016 ETSBOA Jr. Clinic.
Congratulations to Marley Proffitt (Alto Sax) and Carter Hatch (Tenor Sax) on earning seats in the 2017 ETSBOA 'Red' Jazz Band. Marley will play 1st Alto (he finished 3rd among all who auditioned) and Carter will play 2nd Tenor. .
Thanks so much to Mrs. Kashif and all of the Booster volunteers who worked countless hours to make the 2016 MMI a success. Congratulations to Oak Ridge on winning the 'High Music Score' in the large and small classes. On behalf of Mr. Ford and myself, it is a pleasure to work with such a dedicated group of parents and students.
Congratulations to the Montgomery Ridge Wind Ensemble, the MJHS Band, and the MHS Band on earning 'Superior' ratings at the 2016 State Concert Festival at Farragut HS. Festival Preview Concert
The MHS and MJHS Bands will present their 'Festival Preview' concert on Tuesday evening, Feb. 28th, at 7:00pm at the Clayton Center for the Arts. The MJHS Band will open the concert, followed by the MHS group.

MHS Band Festival Performance @ Farragut HS.
The MHS Band will perform for adjudication at the ETSBOA Performance Assessment at Farragut High School on Thursday, March 9th at 6:30pm. The MJHS Band will perform on Wednesday, March 8th at 1:05pm. Admission is free if you wish to come support your students.
