are extrememly proud of your work and growth throughout the year. A

Congratulations to all 34 MHS Band students selected for the 2016 ETSBOA All-East bands. 25 MHS and 9 MJHS students were selected for the honor. Special kudos to the following
nine students who earned a chair in the 2016 Tennessee All-State Band:
11/12 Band: Andrew Ashmore (clarinet), Christopher George (trumpet), and Alex Douglas (percussion);
9/10 Band: Leah Wolfe (flute), Jake Basil (clarinet), Sam Davis (bass clarinet) Marley Profitt (alto sax), Dalton DeLara (bari sax), and Nolan Heinrich (tuba).
In addition, Craig Harville (9/10 bassoon), Carter Hatch (9/10 tenor sax),
Graham Crain (9/10 trombone), and Isaac Douglass (9/10 tuba) were selected as first alternates for
All-State. Special thanks to all students who took the time and
effort to try out and represent our school.
Congratulations to Christopher George (Trumpet) on being selected
for the All-East 'Blue' Jazz Band, and earning a chance to audition for the Tennessee All-State Jazz Band.
In addition, Marley Profitt (Alto Sax), Carter Hatch (Tenor Sax),
Julian Gerdeman (Bari Sax), and Wyatt Harper (Bass) earned seats in
the 'White' band.
2017 Spring Trip Info
MHS Band Fall Concert
The MHS Band will present a fall concert this Thursday, at 7:00 in the MJHS Auditorium. We will be performing selections from our upcoming
HOME vs. Hardin Valley (Senior Night)
We will honor our Seniors this Friday at the Hardin Valley game. The senior band members will perform the National Anthem, then the Seniors and
their parents will be recognized during half-time. Parents should meet at the 'R' gate (by the Don Storey building) a few minutes before the half.
We will practice the show and presentation on the Tuesday night practice.
